James W. Farrell, DPM
James W. Farrell, DPM is a native of the western NY area. He graduated from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio and received his Podiatric training at the William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He began his private practice in Rochester, NY in 1985 where he also developed The Foot Performance Center, a clinical gait analysis and orthotic laboratory. Fifteen years later Dr. Farrell moved his Practice to Skaneateles where he purchased the Skaneateles Foot and Ankle Center. That Practice has since expanded to become the Westside Podiatry Center with 4 additional offices in Liverpool, Camillus, Oswego, and Cicero and six additional Podiatrists.
Dr. Farrell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and has surgical privileges at Community General Hospital and the Camillus Surgery Center in Camillus, and at Auburn Memorial Hospital in Auburn, NY where he performs a full spectrum of podiatric surgical procedures. He and his wife Katherine live in Skaneateles with their dog Maggie. Their three children, Ryan, Sean and Kelsey are all either in college or graduated. When the children were in High School Dr. Farrell was president of the booster clubs for the soccer team for 6 years and volleyball team for 2 years. An active part of the community, Dr. Farrell served on the Board of Deacons at the Skaneateles Presbyterian Church, and has volunteered for over eight years as member of the Song Mountain Ski Patrol. The entire family enjoys boating, skiing and golf.
Chad Rounds, DPM
Chad Rounds, DPM is an Upstate native. He attended LeMoyne College for his undergraduate degree and received his Doctorate from Temple University.
His surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery was completed at the Crozer-Keystone Medical Center in suburban Philadelphia. Dr. Rounds has extensive experience in Diabetic wound care and limb salvage surgery. His training included work at one of the largest wound care centers in the Philadelphia area, as well as specialized study in the use of internal and external fixation techniques for the lower extremity. Dr. Rounds has traveled to Europe for advanced surgical training.
Dr. Rounds is Board Certified in Foot Surgery. He is an Associate of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Rounds lectures throughout Central New York and is on staff at Oswego Hospital, St. Josephs Health Center as well as Camillus Surgery Center.
Currently, Dr. Rounds and his family live in the Liverpool area. He is a former collegiate Rugby player and is still active in multiple sports.
Edward L. Wadie, DPM
Edward L. Wadie, DPM was born and raised in Egypt. He graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University in Egypt and received his bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Wadie received his podiatric doctorate at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Magna Cum Laude. He completed his 3 years of post graduate reconstructive foot and ankle surgical training at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey.
Dr. Wadie is board certified in Foot surgery and board qualified in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He is also an Associate of the American Podiatric Medical Association and a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Wadie has privileges at St. Joseph Hospital where he performs a full spectrum of podiatric surgical procedures. Dr. Wadie is a member of the Diabetic limb Salvage team at St. Joseph Hospital. Dr. Wadie is also the chief of the Podiatric Surgery department at Camillus Surgical Center. Dr. Wadie, his wife Nansi, and their children David, Andrew and Daniel relocated from New Jersey to the Liverpool, New York area several years ago and became involved in the community. They enjoy traveling, fishing,gardening, swimming and Christian music.
Daniel Smith, DPM
Daniel Smith, DPM is a native of East Syracuse, and a graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School. He attended Cornell University, where he received a B.A. in Biology. He also attended the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, in Chicago, Illinois, where he received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine, Magna Cum Laude. He completed his podiatric residency at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts, and returned home to Central New York to begin practicing in 2002.
Dr. Smith is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS). He is on staff at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center, University Hospital, as well as several CNY surgical centers including Camillus Surgery Center.
Dr. Smith and his wife Kristen reside in Tipperary Hill with their four children, Peter, Molly, Kevin and Brendan.
Karen Stanley, DPM
With an impressive education, several Board certifications, and 27+ years in practice, Karen Stanley, DPM has built a solid reputation of treating her patients with confidence, excellence, and ease.
She has attended various institutions of higher learning including Harvard University and the University of Lowell in MA, and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH where she graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1994.
Dr. Stanley furthered her graduate medical education by completing a 2-year Primary Podiatric Medical Residency at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and a 2-year Rotating and Podiatric Surgical Residency at UPMC-Memorial Hospital of Bedford County in Everett, PA.
Dr. Stanley has several hospital staff affiliations in NY, namely with Camillus Surgery Center, University Hospital-Community Campus, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Oswego Hospital, and Upstate University Hospital-Downtown Campus.
Being Physician Certified in Wound Care (CMET), a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Stanley has set the bar high for podiatric care in the Finger Lakes and Lake Ontario regions of upstate NY.
Justin Beabes, DPM, DABFAS, FACFAS
Dr. Justin Beabes is a 2003 graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine now known as the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a two-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency (PM&S-24) with the first year at the VA Black Hills in Sturgis, South Dakota, and the second year at the VA Southern Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Beabes enjoys the entire practice of podiatry but his special interests are forefoot surgery, heel pain, and diabetic foot management.
Dr. Beabes in his personal time enjoys volunteering far ABC (AII Bassets Cherished) Basset Hound Rescue of NY and currently serves as the Vice-President.

Adam T. Bersani, DPM
Adam T. Bersani, DPM is a native of Central New York. He attended Ithaca College for his undergraduate degree and received his doctorate from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine graduating with honors. Dr. Bersani served as chief resident at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. His experiences have him well trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques of the foot and ankle, reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, trauma of the foot and ankle, diabetic foot care, wound care, limb salvage, and general podiatric issues.
Dr. Bersani is a board qualified foot and ankle surgeon. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He has privileges at Crouse Hospital, St. Josephs Health Center, Oswego Hospital, and Camillus Surgery Center.
Currently, Dr. Bersani lives on the east side of Syracuse with his wife and two dogs. In his free time he enjoys going to concerts, playing drums, watching sports, playing basketball, golfing, and rooting for the Syracuse Orange.
